Maybelline Express Finish Nail Polish, Matte Grey

Hello Happy X-mas Eve! And a Happy Friday too! Today I have an old polish for you. I was lucky enough to come across some of the matte Maybelline polishes at my local dollar tree, quite some time ago. This is Matte Grey. Matte Grey is a light gun metal matte that dries to a semi-satin finish due to the loads of shimmer. This does dries to a decent matte, but my pics don't show that very well ...sorry. These polishes would look great with a top coat too. I want to mention that these went on quite nicely for me. Not sure if that's luck or not but I thought it was worth mentioning. This is 2 coats, no base, no top.

Ulta Matte-Rial Girl Nail Polish, Slate Silk

Hello and a Happy Friday to you! I couldn't sleep last night. I'm running on fumes at this point! I was hoping to get tons of house work done today and now I just want to go back to bed! Today is another super grey, blah kinda day, but this weekend should be sunny and 75' ! I was hoping on getting my chores done today so I can enjoy this pretty weekend (the rain comes back Monday) So I will probably drink lots of coffee and force my way thru the day!

Anyhoo, This is the first polish I'm gonna show you from the Ulta Matte-rial girl Collection. These are all mini's and come in a set of four. Slate silk is a matte slate grey polish with silver sparkle. This applied great in 2 coats and had great drying time. I luv the textured look of these! Very cool and edgy! I also luv polishes that change depending on lighting and these do! In low light this is super matte like unpolished marble! In the sunshine even without a top coat these sparkle! luuuuuv it!

So has anyone else tried these? I only saw one set at Ulta before and that's the one I bought. I would luv to know if these are anything like OPI's sued collection? I don't have any of those ....yet. One day I hope to!!!! hehehehehe!

Sally Hansen Polish, Metro Creme

Today I have a Old Sally Hansen Polish, This is Metro Creme. I love this Polish! It's a strange mix of grey,taupe and army green. This was 3 coats. One coast SV. This got bubbles after I added my SV which needed to be thinned.

Borghese Nail Lacquer, Stellare Notte

Hello everyone! I didn't get that much done but I did find my swatches of Stellare Notte! Happy Dance :) So this is it, sorry it's overcast at all times here! But these are the best of the bunch with the pics. If you look at the bottles you can see what this looks like on the nail, in person. So this is a Dark gunmetal grey base with Purple/fuchsia and green/teal micro shimmer. I would personally consider this a douchrome-iridescent hybrid. If that makes any sense! hehehe!
This is 2 coats, no base, 1 coat SV.

Sephora by OPI, Metro Chic

Hello! I have 100 followers yeah! Sorry I don't have much time today! This is Metro Chic a very popular polish I personally like my Recycle by China Glaze better tho. This is a little on the jelly side and Although this is really cool I like a grey creme better. This is 3 coats, no base, no top. Have a great day!!!!!!

Jesse's Girl, 80117 (gunmetal shimmer)

LOL! Okay so I just realized that I've been spelling this wrong! It's Jesse's not Jessie's, so I will be editing my last couple of post....... lmao! Any hoo ... this was my first gunmetal grey ever! And I still really like it! This is a slightly sheer shimmer that builds nicely. You see here 3 coats, no base, no top. I think I could have done a better application on this one, but I think this needs a little thinner anyways so maybe that's why. This is a fun polish, and I don't think I have any dupes for this one in my collection.

BB Couture, Opposites Attract

Here we have a very fun and original polish. This is a cream grey with light silver glitter, and black particles? If that makes sense? I say particles because they're like little pieces of color rather than actual glitter or shimmer. You might have to enlarge to see it very well. This for me is a super great polish to own. I just love it! This is 2 coats.

I was hoping to get all of these posted tonight, but I'm just to tired to do it! So here are my first 5 of 15! Also I should mention that my pics today weren't as great as I would have hoped but I did my best. I hope to find some time in the morning to get the rest of these posted. SpaRitual, Solitude

This is Solitude. I was surprised when I got this in the mail. I didn't expect this to be purple. I though from pics I had seen that this would be a blue color. But it is in fact a very greyed purple jelly polish. I really like this one! I know we've all seen tons of these colors, but this is unlike anything I have in my collection. This is 3 coats no base, no top.

Forever 21, Nude

Seriously "Nude", are we zombies? lol! This is not what I would call nude, It's light grey, like concrete. Although the name makes no sense at all. I love this cool! it's super awesome! Perfect in 2 coats. This is a must have for me!
