Finger Paints Peacock Portrait

Hello and Happy Thursday! I was sick for a couple of days, but I'm feeling much better today. ☆★☆★☆

This is another try it Tuesday-ish mani I did. I've decided to stick with my glitter polishes. They look great over my fav silver polish ... Revlon's Lily 001 (last pic). I've shown you this before it's good coverage in just one coat and looks great on my toes plain without glitter. This way im coordinated without planning.  And I'm not bothering with a base coat on these.

Today we have a gorgeous polish (sorry I didn't get a bottle pic) from Finger Paints, Peacock Portrait is an extremely dense glitter polish with multi sized and colored glitter, favoring the blues and greens. This also has mini holographic glitter that reflects the rainbow. You could probably reach full opaque coverage in 3-4 coats. Shown here is 2 thin coats over my base, 1 coat SV.

LUV WHO YOU LUV AND BE THANKFUL YOU HAVE THEM.

Icing, Frost Yourself

Hello, Happy Friday, Well for you that is...I hope!  I'm sick as a dog! I had to go into work, one of those times you just can't call in. I did mange to leave about an hour early although I don't think it helped. I'm probably going to spend the weekend in bed, ugh! I have plans to go to Ikea Sunday and pick up 3 more Helmers!!!I'm so excited, I hope I'm better by then! I have 2 completely cram packed Helmers already. And I have polish in shoe boxes and cosmetic bags all over my room, I hope to get more organized before I have to move. I also want to hit up Bed Bath and Beyond as well, I was there last weekend and picked up some killer stacking draw organizers that I just luv!! I want 12 more! Owwww I hope I get better fast!!!

Okay so that's my me rant on to the polish already!!!
This is Icings Frost Yourself, I don't normally get into polish names that much but I just luv this one especially
On a day like today, I wanted to tell everyone to go Frost themselves lol! This was 3 coats polish 1 coat SV top coat. As you can see from the pics this has Silver holographic/Rainbow reflecting hexagon glitter which is uber popular now days (yes!) in two different sizes and it also has your A-typical silver glitter all floating in a clear base. On the nails this had So Much Bling I felt lock a Rock Stars Groupie LUV IT!!!
You might ask if I felt this need a color base and although this would work great as a top coat I felt that on it's own it was still great. In my pics you can see the bare spots but in person this has so much light reflecting goodness you can't see past it. Hope that makes sense.

Luv who you Luv and be thankful you have them!

Maybelline Express Finish Nail Polish, Matte Grey

Hello Happy X-mas Eve! And a Happy Friday too! Today I have an old polish for you. I was lucky enough to come across some of the matte Maybelline polishes at my local dollar tree, quite some time ago. This is Matte Grey. Matte Grey is a light gun metal matte that dries to a semi-satin finish due to the loads of shimmer. This does dries to a decent matte, but my pics don't show that very well ...sorry. These polishes would look great with a top coat too. I want to mention that these went on quite nicely for me. Not sure if that's luck or not but I thought it was worth mentioning. This is 2 coats, no base, no top.

Sally Hansen Nail Prisms, Lapis Amethyst

Hello Everyone hope your weekend was good! Today I have a quick post for you. This is Lapis Amethyst from the Sally Hansen Nail Prisms collection. I wore this as my next mani from my giveaway collection. And I'm so glad I did! I luv this! I was afraid that this would be really sheer and turn out to be not much of a duochrome. But I was super wrong! I tried to capture the effect in my pics as best I can. This was 3 coats, Could've used just 2 coats but I was trying to build up depth since I figured the duochrome would be weak. Next time I will just use 2 coats. This is with 1 coat SV. P.s. My nails look awful! They have wraps on and are super dented but I said what the hell. F-it I must show this pretty anyways!
For you chance to win a new bottle of this polish and much more please enter my giveaway (link below)..... Tell all your friends hehehehe!

Ulta Matte-Rial Girl Nail Polish, Slate Silk

Hello and a Happy Friday to you! I couldn't sleep last night. I'm running on fumes at this point! I was hoping to get tons of house work done today and now I just want to go back to bed! Today is another super grey, blah kinda day, but this weekend should be sunny and 75' ! I was hoping on getting my chores done today so I can enjoy this pretty weekend (the rain comes back Monday) So I will probably drink lots of coffee and force my way thru the day!

Anyhoo, This is the first polish I'm gonna show you from the Ulta Matte-rial girl Collection. These are all mini's and come in a set of four. Slate silk is a matte slate grey polish with silver sparkle. This applied great in 2 coats and had great drying time. I luv the textured look of these! Very cool and edgy! I also luv polishes that change depending on lighting and these do! In low light this is super matte like unpolished marble! In the sunshine even without a top coat these sparkle! luuuuuv it!

P.S. All pics taken with a SV bottle have a coat of SV.........

In the shade with top coat.........

In direct sunlight with top coat......

So has anyone else tried these? I only saw one set at Ulta before and that's the one I bought. I would luv to know if these are anything like OPI's sued collection? I don't have any of those ....yet. One day I hope to!!!! hehehehehe!
Have a wonderful weekend!

L.A. Girl FLARE, Silver

Hello! Today I have another polish my Sis picked up for me. This polish is a really cool silver with green undertones. This looks greenish blue in most lights and is unlike my other silvers. I love this fun twist on silver. This applied really well in two coats. No base, no top.

Mac, $$$$$ Yes

I love this color! I heard some bloggers didn't care for it. But chrome is my thing! And this one was great for me! I think mine was a little on the thick side, (I got this on ebay) but a good shake and it worked well enough. This is two coats no base, no top. This does have brush strokes but that tends to disappear when it dries (and a top coat always helps). I need to do a comparison to Revlon's Lily chrome and see if this is a dup. Might be. I believe both polishes are hard to come by but ebay is a great place to find either of these.

Also I wanted to mention that the next series will be:

1. ELF (I only have 5)

2.Jessies Girl (I only have 6)

3. Carolyn New York (13)

4. Barielle (14)

5. Sinful (some)

6.OPI (some)

7.China Glaze (some)

BB Couture, Blind Love

I can't tell you how much I love this polish! It's amazing, much cooler in person! This is 2 coats. Okay so.... this is one of the coolest polishes ever! This is silver with a little gold and a little green. Tons of sparkle! Applied like a dream! I highly recommended this to the silver and or bling lover!
