Milani 582 Teal Glitter layered under Mary Kay French Vanilla

Hello dear readers, more pics from my cell phone..... This is the mani you saw in my last post.

This is my take on the jelly sandwich. This looked awesome from a distance but up close it was uber gross, lol! I started this mani with just the Milani glitter (2 coats, I think this needs to be thinned as it was icky thick) and 2 coats SV top coat. This was still super bumpy with considerable shrinkage, I didn't have time to change my polish so I threw on 2 coats of The Mary Kay polish and another layer of SV. Overall I luv'd this look but next time I will do it in a straight go and skip the extra coats of SV in the middle. We that's it for now hope your first week of 2013 brings good things!

Luv who you luv and be thankful you have them!!

Alanna's Vaca Mani, Loreal Yellow Buzz 930 and OPI Rainbow Connection HL C09

Hello there! Just Trying out my new computer which I Love!!! I still need a new camera, but I uploaded a few pics from my phone. I never thought I'd be down to just a camera phone again but hey it's better than nothing. It's a terrible camera so we'll see how many good pics I can produce.

This is one of Alanna's Favorite combo's, yellow and rainbows. I took these poolside which is why the skin looks so pink. I'm super jealous of her long thick health nails!! But I love to paint them. :)

Here we have L'Oreal Yellow Buzz with OPI Rainbow Connection layered on top. 2 coats each with SV top coat.

Here is my jelly sandwich mani I did at the same time. I'll post this soon (pics are Bad)

Sally Hansen,China Glaze and Revlon, Silver Sparkle Goodness

HELLO!!! So I think I'm going Crazy, I swear I posted this already?!?!?! Anywho this is the fun and easy mani I did awhile back. This is the closest thing to nail art I do. To get this look I started off with a layer of my favorite Silver polish, Revlon's Lily Chrome, Then alternated nails using China Glaze's Lorelei's Tiara (one coat) and Sally Hansen's Ice Queen(two coats).
 I luv'd this look!!!
Below is the finished look, LT is the pointer and ring fingers IQ on the other 3. IQ is more sparse and has Baby Pink, Blue and Silver Hexagon Glitter floating in a clear base with Silver/holographic glitter. LT is loaded with dense blue and silver glitter in a clear base.

Below are the products I used... Bruch on nail glue instead of a Base coat, Polishes and Seche Vite Top Coat (If you didn't know this stuff is better then Sliced bread...Hands Down!)
On a side note I thought I'd take a moment and remind and or notify my readers of a few things...
*My nails are thin and always break, So short and uneven is kinda my thing
*I never ever clean or touch up my nails ...Who has the time!?
*My cuticles are always a mess and dry too!
*I'm crazy busy, my computer is crap and my camera isn't much better
* I live in Seattle, Rain means clouds, so my pics, like 90% of the year are without "Sunlight"
*This blog is 3 years old!
*And I LUV Color
*I LUV MY READERS TOO!
Have a WONDERFUL NIGHT, WEEKEND, HOLIDAY,.......... LIFE!!!!

Nfu-Oh #51 Layered Over Black

Hello, I know its been a really long time. But, that's life. I'm no longer working, my last position was a temp. assignment. I found out shortly after starting there that it was much shorter of an assignment than I was originally told. Oh well. I'm looking for work actively and hope to find another job soon. Now that I've got some extra time I think I can try and keep up with the polishing world a little. My computer is still a Horrid Monster ...but whats new?!! I also dropped one of my cameras but not the one I use the most for polish pics. (yes!) lol! My nails have been bare for over a week and are ragged and sad mess. I will remedy this as soon as I'm done with this post! This is two coats Nfu-Oh #51 layered over black, with one coat of Seche Vite top coat. Sorry the Mani is a little bumpy looking my SV was too thick! Until next time....... :)

Bloom Kitty & Sally Hansen Star Sapphire Layered

Hello! Thought I'd show you a couple of the giveaway polishes...(These bottles are from my personal stash, all giveaway polishes are new and unused) Here we have Kitty from Bloom, my namesake polish. I Luv Kitty! hahaha! But I do it's a perfect mint/pistachio green and it applies so smooth and easy. This is 2 coats, no top. To see my Original review of this polish and to hear how I wound up gettin' an awesome polish named after me click a link http://kittyluvscolor.blogspot.com/2009/09/bloom-polish-kitty.html -Review
http://kittyluvscolor.blogspot.com/2009/09/bloom-cosmetics-kitty-polish-my-name.html -story
p.s. Sorry my nails look weird, I have wraps on and I'm not very good at applying these.
I wanted to try a polish I hadn't tried yet. So I went ahead and layered 1 coat of Star Sapphire over Kitty. I love how Funky and different this looked! I especially loved the square glitter! This is a dark blue glitter, which is great cuz most of my blue glitters are lighter. This glitter is pretty easy to work with, has a clear base and dries fairly fast. All pics taken with one coat of SV.

So if you haven't yet.... Please enter my giveaway for your chance to win theses pretties...... :p~~~
Today was the first day of Summer Vacation for the Seattle School District!!!!!! So happy! I'm gonna go pick another polish from the giveaway to paint my nails with. Then it's a hot bath and sleep for me. Have a Good Night and a Great Morning!

Maybelline Express Finish, Opal Rush, layered

Hello everyone! Happy Friday! It truly is a beautiful day here in Seattle! Blue sky's, sunshine and no school! We have friends coming to play today so I have to be quick. Also I wanted to mention that my computer is not working well at all and every time I try to do anything I get a warning that the security Certificate is expired and tons of content is being blocked and I can't leave comments for some reason. Even my email is messed up! Anyways until I can't get this straightened out (hopefully today!) I can't leave comments. ARGH! I'm still reading as much as I can though.

This is the reason I love Matte white polish! Matte polish dries super fast and is an awesome base coat for neon's and sheers! I have always loved the shimmery goodness found in alot of my sheer polishes but want to get them opaque with no VNL, until now that was a huge pain! But if you start with a matte white base and layer your sheer over it you get a wonderful Mani! I luv how this turned out and will be doing this alot in the future. It saved so much time! This is 3 coats Opal Rush over OPI Alpine Snow - Matte. This first pic is blurred a little please remember to click on anything you want to see BIGGER hehe! This had a wonderful creamy-buttery color.

Barielle Secret Encounter layered with Sinful's Deep Red Ocean #164 Picture heavy!

Here we have one of the Sinful flakie polishes. I have 4 of these I think. I have to say right of the bat that these aren't the pest polishes. But If you give it a little extra attention they come out GREAT! this is one coat of Sinful and one coat of SV on top of 2 coats of SE. (applied the next day). With these polishes it's important to get a good amount on your brush and paint them until the flakies lay smooth and uniform. If you want to add a second coat I suggest waiting until the first is completely dry. Then add a coat ...or two of top coat. I suggest SV as it's Sooooo good at self leveling and can fill in the valleys left by thick flakies! Any hoo I love this look and had a lot of fun wearing it! That's it from me today hope everyone is having a wonderful day!!!!!!!
