Maybelline Express Finish Nail Polish, Matte Grey

Hello Happy X-mas Eve! And a Happy Friday too! Today I have an old polish for you. I was lucky enough to come across some of the matte Maybelline polishes at my local dollar tree, quite some time ago. This is Matte Grey. Matte Grey is a light gun metal matte that dries to a semi-satin finish due to the loads of shimmer. This does dries to a decent matte, but my pics don't show that very well ...sorry. These polishes would look great with a top coat too. I want to mention that these went on quite nicely for me. Not sure if that's luck or not but I thought it was worth mentioning. This is 2 coats, no base, no top.

Ulta Matte-Rial Girl, Violet Velour

Hello! Hope your weekend went well. Mine was good other than it being cold and wet like a typical Seattle Fall day! Argh!!!! I can't tell you how annoying this wetness in June is! I'm gonna go CRAZY soon...LOL! Today I'm walking to the park to meet up with my daughters' class for lunch then My Son's 5th grade Graduation Tonight!!!!! So Happy and Proud!!! Also I picked up 2 more goodies to throw in my Giveaway. I'll give you a hint ...... They both have "Ruby" in their names and they are both by Sally Hansen. HEHEHE! Any guesses?


Violet Velour is the 4th and last in this mini matte collection. This isn't really very violet maybe a tiny bit. But I still luv this one! Same as the others this is packed with silver glitter/particles Super pigmented and rich, this was 2 coats... All pic's taken with a bottle of Seche Vite have one coat of SV.

Ulta Matte-Rial Girl, Orchid Organza

Hello Everyone! Today I have for you the 3rd polish in this collection. Orchid Organza is a Rose/mauve pink that is also Violet. Hard to describe really. It's very pretty tho! Tons of silver glitter/particles make this polish special and definitely my fav of the rose/mauve category! This was 2 easy coats.

Well today is a busy day! Off to Field Day I go!!! Then a nice walk home with my Minions! Gonna stop by the Library on our way home and maybe even some bikini shopping for me and the girls! Don't worry my son can check out the toy section and drink coco. Mamma luvs here little man cub too!

Ulta Matte-Rial Girl, Sparkling Suede

Hey Guy, A big Huge thanks to everyone who sent me and the kids well wishes! Today I have the second in the Ulta Matte-Rial Girl Collection of mini's. This is Sparkling Suede and I Luuuuv it! This is so pretty and textured. This is a Taupe brown with tons of silver sparkle. With top coat this sparkles like a rainbow in the mud! A real gem in my book. This was 2 coats. Pics shown with a bottle of Seche Vite have one coat of SV.

Ulta Matte-Rial Girl Nail Polish, Slate Silk

Hello and a Happy Friday to you! I couldn't sleep last night. I'm running on fumes at this point! I was hoping to get tons of house work done today and now I just want to go back to bed! Today is another super grey, blah kinda day, but this weekend should be sunny and 75' ! I was hoping on getting my chores done today so I can enjoy this pretty weekend (the rain comes back Monday) So I will probably drink lots of coffee and force my way thru the day!

Anyhoo, This is the first polish I'm gonna show you from the Ulta Matte-rial girl Collection. These are all mini's and come in a set of four. Slate silk is a matte slate grey polish with silver sparkle. This applied great in 2 coats and had great drying time. I luv the textured look of these! Very cool and edgy! I also luv polishes that change depending on lighting and these do! In low light this is super matte like unpolished marble! In the sunshine even without a top coat these sparkle! luuuuuv it!

So has anyone else tried these? I only saw one set at Ulta before and that's the one I bought. I would luv to know if these are anything like OPI's sued collection? I don't have any of those ....yet. One day I hope to!!!! hehehehehe!

OPI Polish, Alpine Snow - Matte

Hey there today I have another matte white for your viewing pleasure. This is 3 coats of Alpine Snow- matte, No base, no top coat. This was easier to use then the one from my previous post. I also loved this as a base! I will show you what I mean tomorrow.

I also wanted to mention that My Blogs 1st Birthday is coming up! And I'm turning 30 next month so I'm thinking of doing a small. fun giveaway. I want to give that last bottle of Kitty from Bloom away before I give it to someone in my fam. And I think it will go nicely with all the mint shades that are so hot this spring.

I have to mention that I'm losing steam with the whole boggin thing in general. I just thought I would have more of a following by now. Feels like 122 followers after a year, just makes me a bit of a loser. Not that I don't love and appreciate all my followers. Because I do! I started this blog to help people pick and choose colors they liked and brands and all that. But I don't feel like I'm helping anyone. Anyways, sorry for the pity party. I will continue to blog until my year is up but after that I don't know.

P.S. I counted my collection last night!!! Scary, I know! I have over 800 polish I have not swatched or posted! Crazy Kitty ...LOL!

Color Club Polish, Alabaster

Hello, I hope every one's Valentines Day was wonderful! I took a few days off to rest and enjoy the Holiday. Now me and the kids have the week off! Happy Dance!!!!

This is Color Club's Alabaster, from the Dark Romance, Matte Collection of mini's. I won this little collection's from Mary over at Body and Soul. I was so excited to get this collection. But I'm sad to report that in this collection, only one of these polishes turned out to be matte. The white I'm showing you here is not at all matte. This turned out to be a very hard to work with white creme, with a shinny finish. This is 2 thick gloppy coats.

MAN GLAZE Polish THE DEATH TAR - MATTE BLACK

Hello, hope everyone is having a great start to their week! Today I have a polish I swatched awhile ago. This is an awesome matte, I love it! This has a shimmer to it, but it's not to visible until you get in the sun. This was 2 coats, no base, no top.
